LIBROS KIDDZZZZ

These are the 6 books I have finished so far this year.

I told myself I would read more when the year started. I haven't actually read a lot, I initially said one book a week, read three in January, two in February and one so far in march, so I guess I need to catch up.

The White Tiger and 1984 I definitely recommend. Specially 1984.

About a Boy was a lovely book to read. Better than the movie.

High Fidelity was a little hard to understand at times: it talked lots about music and famous people I didn't know of (from the 80s I think). But I guess it wasn't a complete waste of time. The main character is so annoying, yet so real. I found myself laughing at the way he thought and the things he ended up doing, because that's how many of us are too, but are afraid to admit so.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time was great, although I'm not sure how well asperger syndrome is portrayed. Worth reading though, you really get to like the little boy.

The Hundred-year-old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared was great in the beginning; I was truly excited to read it. As said before, I learnt some history and I guess the story line was clever, but I wouldn't recommend it. I think I lost interest in it half way through it; it got sort of boring and perhaps a little predictable.

Right now I'm reading East of Eden and a few others, but I'll get back to those in a while.
